Who We Are

Georgia Boers is a still a southern family farm snuggled in the foothills of northeast Georgia. We were looking for a way to add to our
bottom line and a way to insure we could continue as a farm. We decided to raise
Boer goats for sale after much research. The many
benefits of raising and selling Boer goats and forage feed beef on our farm in Dewy Rose Georgia  was the perfect solution. Check out
our sister site
Dewy Rose Boer and Beef
Our Progress:

We out grew our Boer goat farm in Pendergrass, Georgia. We needed to either cut down on the Boer goats or we needed to get a bigger
place. Not wanting to lose the years of selecting quality Boer goats that will thrive in the humid hot Southeast, the decision was made to
triple the size of our farm and take only the very best with us. We moved one county over to Dewy Rose, Georgia

We will be raising and offering quality
Boer goats and forage feed beef for sale at our new farm.  Planning and building new fencing and
shelters for the goats is taking several months. More than I expected  but it keeps us busy.

We have added a son of
RRD Gauge *Ennobled*, a son of the paint buck, RRD HAMMER TIME  and another paint son of the great T4
Redneck
in our Boer Stud. Kidding started on Christmas day. The kids are now weaned and they are awesome! Most of the 2008 Boer
goat kids will be for sale. Pictures coming.

Posted are a few pictures of our new place and how the goat farm is taking shape. We do have
Boer goats for sale. If you are looking for
Boer goats for sale in the southeast, Georgia, North or South Carolina, Florida or Tennessee come visit. Please call first. This is a working
farm. We work and our goats work.  I  will be glad for an excuse to stop, drink some pineapple tea on the porch with guests and talk goat!
Feeding Tip: Foraging under the Apple Trees
During a drought if you look, you can find different sources of feed for your animals. Our goats are turned out among the apple, pear and
plum trees to pick up what has fallen. Sometimes they decide to help us do a little unscheduled pruning! I gather a bucket full for the cows
and pigs to enjoy each evening.
