Directions to our farm:
From Athens, Georgia go out State Highway 72 until you cross the river
and get into Elbert County take the first road to the left. (Nickville Road)
Go about 5-6 miles we are on the right. Mailbox has 2270 on the mail
box. Brick house. Red barn.
From I85 take the Lavonia Exit State Highway 17. Go towards Elberton.
go through Bowman Georgia to Dewy Rose, GA. After the Post Office in
Dewy Rose take the first road to the right ( Nickville Road) We are 1.5
miles from the Post Office just after the four way stop at the Deep
Creek Baptist Church on the left.

Retirement and the Goat owner
Goats are great for children, women, retired people since they are
small and easily managed. They respond well to slow calm handling.
I am retired and am limited in how long I can stay out in the extreme
cold or heat. They didn't warn me about all the aches and pains that go
with growing old. Please forgive me if I cannot schedule a visit or if I
cannot spend as much time with you as I would love to do. This body
just does not cooperate some days.... but I enjoy any excuse to talk to
someone that does not "Baaaaaa!" "Moooooo!" nor "Cluck". Hope
to see you soon and bring some sunshine!
